Michelle Barlow

Associate Architect

Michelle has over 10 years' experience in sustainable architecture and masterplanning. While she has a wide-ranging experience across all scales and sectors of the built environment, she specialises in commercial fitouts and the design and delivery of sustainable housing from individual dwellings to large scale developments.

Since joining useful Studio in 2015 Michelle has worked on the Clove Building SKA Gold fitout, infill and modular housing project, Sao Paulo social housing and the Sustainability Strategy for the Meridian Water Masterplan.

Previously Michelle worked at Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands where she was involved in award-winning projects delivering social housing in South Kilburn and the retrofit of the Foyles Flagship Store. She also worked at DSDHA on N09 East Village, public realm and residential care home projects. She studied at the University of Cambridge and London Metropolitan University before completing her education at the Bartlett School of Architecture, where she graduated with the Ross Jamieson Prize.
